The Occasional Child Care Program receives funding from the University of Iowa in an effort to help parents looking for back up child care for work, school, mildly ill children or just an evening out. The Occasional Child Care list is made up of University of Iowa students who have had a Criminal and Child Abuse background check completed by the Department of Human Services. The list can be obtained via this web site (complete survey form below for access), by sending an e-mail request to occasionalchildcare@iowa4cs.com or calling 338-7684 x107.

*The Occasional Child Care list is a referral list and not recommendations. We do not endorse or recommend any particular provider or assure that any provider provides quality child care. All agreements and contracts are between the parent and the occasional child care provider.
