4Cs Occasional Care List

The Occasional Child Care Program receives funding from the University of Iowa in an effort to help parents looking for back up child care for work, school, mildly ill children or just an evening out. The Occasional Child Care list is made up mainly of University of Iowa students who have had a Criminal and Child Abuse background check completed by the Department of Human Services. The list can be obtained by sending an e-mail request to occasionalchildcare@iowa4cs.com or calling 338-7684 ext. 115.

Forms that you may like to use when working with an occasional child care provider are available from the Family Services, University of Iowa website.

*The Occasional Child Care list is a referral list and not recommendations. We do not endorse or recommend any particular provider or assure that any provider provides quality child care. All agreements and contracts are between the parent and the occasional child care provider.
